"Up With People" Black Ops (part 2)
Upon our arrival at the secret UWP facility, Goetz (who asked me to call him simply "G") and I were met by the most interesting entourage; a set of athletic Scandanavian twins named Heidi and Hilda; a midget named Archibald; and most surprisingly, a man who appeared to be Redd Foxx from the popular (at the time) TV show "Sanford and Son."
Needless to say, I was quite shocked. Mr. Foxx noticed my dumbfounded expression and said, "Ahh, you look a bit confused my boy," in the most dignified British accent you could imagine. He continued: "Yes, I am in fact the person you know as Redd Foxx. It is merely an alias. As a functionary of the Yenohp delegation, one of my key roles is to infiltrate the media. What better way to do it than from Hollywood?" My head was reeling. I further learned that Mr. Foxx was actually a neo-human like Ekoj who had the ability to shape shift. His real name was Parcl' Lub (pronounced pair-cluh-loob) and he used his cover as a famous comedian to manage the Yenohp propaganda machine. I learned that Mr. Foxx had been instrumental in the United States government procuring microchip technology from the aliens known as the "greys". But Mr. Foxx, as I continued to call him as It was too difficult for me to remember his real name, was here at UWP for an altogether different reason.
He was here to "trigger" me - transfer my subconcious thoughts to my councious mind. Then I would know everything I needed to begin my mission. I was escorted to what looked like a dentist's chair and fitted with head phones. I began to hear a song - a nice pop song. I would learn later the song would actually become a hit single for a band called "Looking Glass". The song was called "Brandy". But this was the first time I had heard it. Mr. Foxx told me the song had been embedded with a subliminal command that would trigger my subconcious/concious transfer sequence - plus it was a "snappy little song to boot!" (I found Mr. Foxx in his true character was almost as funny as his Fred Sanford character.) The trigger process, though, did not happen instantly. It would take a few days until I became completely "clear".
In the meantime, Heidi, Hilda and Archibald got me acclimated to the UWP organization. The first order of business was for me to recieve my "de-crypter". My de-crypter would allow me to decipher any known code, language or formula known to man. It was disguised to look like an ordinary accordian (they could actually be configured to look like many different things; ie. electric guitars, typewriters, etc.) as my cover identity would be as a backup accordianist in "Up With People".
Believe it or not, much of the next few days were devoted to my learning my parts in "Up With People". I was pleasantly surprised to learn that the years of extra-terrestrial encoding had made me a wicked accordian player and for the first time in my life I had the companionship of beautiful women like Heidi, Hilda and the other young ladies in "Up With People". Maybe Project X-101 wouldn't be so bad after all? Or maybe it would......
